What kind of perverse madness is THIS??!

Micheal Bay has recently seen it fit to revive an old series known by many of us as Transformers into the movie form.....but in the same scheme as Street Fighter II the movie and House of the Dead or any other Uwe Boll movies. WHAT THE FUCK WERE THEY THINKING/SMOKING when they gone through this???!!!!! This is the shittiest looking CG-crazy movie I've seen since "I, Robot" and I'm beyond pissed off that they would DARE make Transformers into this mockery.

When I watched the teaser trailer at
http://www.transformersmovie.com/
the only thing going through my head was, "This isn't fucking Transformers, it's Independence Day with Robots!" What happened to fighting in disguise? Hell, what happened to keeping their war hidden from the natives??!!! This is a travesty of a movie from the presentation of the trailer to how the transformers themselves look (like plexi-glass Lego Bionicles with lots of sharp edges) and how human-centered the narrative is.

This is just....ARRRRRRRRGH. See for it yourself. Then join me in boycotting this abomination of cherished memories when it comes out.

Parallels craziness

Lifehack recently had an article demonstrating
Parallel's Coherence view
which allows for Windows XP/Vista to run on the same screen as Mac OSX, making for some pretty cross platform craziness. I personally tried it out, and it does work really well.

However, what I found out by moving any Windows application window is that you can easily see the windows background behind the application window. As such, Parallels doesn't really MERGE both OSes together, but rather have Windows and Mac layered over each other, and so in order to move or use Windows you NEED to touch a windows app to move the layer up, and vice versa for Mac. Not a full merger, but an interesting setup nevertheless.

One huge disadvantage I can see using Parallels in comparison to Boot Camp is that Parallels is, for all intents and purpose, a virtual machine, and would not be able to push hardware natively like that under Boot Camp. DirectX will NOT run under Parallel's Windows VM, so unfortunately for all you Mac gamers out there you will not be able to play and heavy duty games that require DirectX of any sort under Parallels Windows. However, if you're using it as a strict work-related machine it'd satisfy all your needs.

Twilight Princess: Nausicaa's return?!!!

As I've recently gotten back to playing The Legend of Zelda on the Wii, 2 words struck me over and over again (alright, maybe closer to 4 or 5, but they're all interrelated), and that is....HAYAO MIYAZAKI!

Why Hayao Miyazaki? Well, if you don't want any spoilers, don't read on any further, but unlike me, I'm quite sure many readers here have already gone much, much further than me. =P

When you first see the Twilight world and the "Boom Tube" the weird designs just screamed "NAUSICAA!" over and over again. Any manga readers of Miyazaki's Nausicaa will notice how eeriely similar many of the architecture and style of the twilight bad guys are very much like that found in the organic "lost" technology in Nausicaa, or when you save the First Guardian of Light, it looked very much like the Deer of Nature found in Princess Mononoke. Even the Second Guardian of Life's art style reminds me very much of how Miyazaki would drove kami-like nature deities and so on.

*end spoilers*

Is it my imagination going wild, or do you see it too? Post on, dear readers!

Sexy Beach 3 Add-on: the right way to reaching a near complete game!

This week's H-game release comes out with Sexy Beach 3's Add-on pack, which features 2 new girls, a few additional costumes, and some additional gravure moments as well as h-scenes. As a whole, this add-on pack is not much, but just making Sexy Beach 3 a FULL game. You heard me, readers. Sexy Beach 3 was so limited in SCOPE in comparison to its predecessor for what you can DO to a girl (remove clothes, play with naughty bits, to name a few things) that it would be a disappointment to some earlier fans of Illusion's works. This new add-on pack shores up some inadequacies by allowing for the girl to a.) get you off in other ways than just same old missionary style and penis in mouth, and b.) allows for the girls to be more "interesting" by having other animations.

I think that Illusion may have stopped trying to overreach what they CAN do within a development cycle while maintaining a healthy time to tune and refine what they have so that it doesn't look like shit, (read: girls' boobs are somewhat bound by the realistic laws of physics, unlike DOAX2 [Zing!]) and the add-on here is simply what else they originally wanted to add in to the original game, but for the reasons stated above couldn't.

Illusion made a smart choice re-incorporating Bael as a girl chara that you CAN score with this time around, as she is one of Illusion's most famous girls and should be exploited in any way possible in favor of making a better game. Using a well-known kinda original IP is always better than making new pseudo-girls that look like some other well known series is always win; less lawsuits, more memorable for itself and not thought of as a h-substitute for said other series. Also, Illusion is very much listening to it's fans considering that it's adding on wild things like foot fetish, ensuring that the sell rate for the add-on to be high in Japan.

Unfortunately, when you have to h-scenes with the girls, you still cannot manually strip their clothes off completely (BOOOOO! what a killjoy), and even when you go to options to turn off clothing during h-scenes, it simply "hides" the clothing. The movement and actions still read very much as if the clothes were still on. I had a humorous time trying to "go inside and caress" (one of the commands found in playing the game, which romanized is "naka de subesube") the gir's underside....and seeing the hand icon do the same motion which it would do when the girl was wearing clothes and enter in through the top of the panties and touch around. Obviously, someone at Illusion has too much of a clothes/costume fetish and it shows. That or they're too lazy to make animations for what to do with a girl when they're nekkid! Take your pick!

World of Warcraft: Casual v. Hardcore

As mostly all WoWers heard by now
Blizzard has cut down Honor Gain by 30% for PvP, raising the ire of many a gamer, like when the 40 man raid dungeons was announced as soon to be 25 man dungeons, or that Pallys and Shammies will be available for both factions. From these changes it has appeared more and more to me that Blizzard's try at walking the fine line between casual and hardcore MMORPG gamers is getting rougher and rougher, and that it's becoming more prevalent in the game that this sort of balancing is cheesing off both sides and leaving neither happy.

DOAX2 v. Sexy Beach 3: Who's biting WHO?

After spending some free time running wild in youtube googling
"Dead or Alive Extreme pole dance"
it's come to my attention yet again on the developments between Sexy Beach 3 and DOAX2; as an H-counterpart of DOAX2, the Sexy Beach series specifically tries to capture the sex appeal which sells DOAX2 and it's earlier counterpart, DOAXBV.

Nintendo strikes back!

Nintendo responded to the recent issues of flying wiimotes with...get this... "Hold the Wii Remote firmly and do not let go."

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA{gasp}{cough}
{wheeze}AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA{gasp}
{cough}{wheeze}HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!! XD Oh, man, this is the biggest "duh" comment I've seen in a while.......but ranks up there with the whole "RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE RACEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" quote of quotable quotes. Honestly, people....Nintendo should be trying to make even more money selling uber-straps with different colors and with a not so easily breakable holder (hmmmmm........thinking about it.....maybe WE should be selling that! Shit! {points to viewer} Copyright pending! [bonus points to whoever can figure what Simpson reference this is to]).

Ret Pally LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, Patch 2.0.1 has graced it's presence to all of us WoWers here, and my GOD, it's MAGNIFICENT! The much maligned Retribution Paladins have now have their day with the GODLY Crusader Strike. (with a whopping 6, yes, SIX, second cooldown only!) It's too soon to figure out if this is some sort of patch glitch, considering that the WoW BC talent calculators peg this talent with a 10 second cooldown, but no Pally will be complaining about the constant kickass they can whoop with this 41 point talent. Literally, the Crusader Strike helps constantly pound on the enemy with my 2 hander with a steady diet of PAIN...I've been going through battleground and now mages and rogues are KILLABLE with the DPS I'm putting out as a Ret Pally, and it's just marvelous.
